Stages’ highly anticipated teen summer acting studio is back!
Tuesday/Thursday Evenings. Public performance, 7 pm June 28
Open to teens entering grades 9-12 or college in the fall.This four week evenings-only class is designed for those interested in developing or honing acting techniques to enhance auditions and roles in high school, college and community theatre.
Participants work with experienced theatre professionals and focus on character analysis, scene and monologue preparation. Included is an opportunity for students to work on song interpretation skills and learning to sell the song. Students must be committed to reading 1-2 plays each week and plan to attend all class meetings. Actors will present a short public performance in the Monroe County Public Library Auditorium at 7:00 pm, June 28th.
